In memory of David M. Bailey, this project was conceived and produced by Gary Kavanagh.

The singers are Erik Balkey, Chris Rosser, Kristen DeWitt, Arlon Bennett, Marc Douglas Berardo, Tom Prasada-Rao and Cary Cooper.

Erik Balkey wrote this song at the request of Gary Kavnagh and provided the inspiration to all the performers who contributed to this song.

Tom Prasada-Rao played all the musical instruments, recorded, engineered, mixed and produced the karma you hear and feel in this song for David, a true creative spirit.

"David is a premier singer-songwriter, wordsmith, poet and, to many, a "Troubadour of Hope."  His faith and message remain.

A song for you my friend ... hope you like it.

He faced the struggles, he lived in war
He lived his time, then lived some more
He questioned thought, he took on faith
He challenged hope, face to face ... face to face

And he said, "Life is short, but dreams are forever
And love never leaves."
He's our Troubadour of Hope
He's our Troubadour of Hope

An author of courage, traveler of time
A sculpture of thought, with dreams of the divine
A poet of faith, a harbor of soul
A giver of gifts who lives forever -- this I know ... this I know

He said, "Life is short, but dreams are forever
And love never leaves."
He's our Troubadour of Hope
He's our Troubadour of Hope

If you can make the most of the time you've got
And sing a song of hope and he is not fogotten
if you can hold just a little of what he is made of
And you are a carrier of hope in a legacy of love ... a legacy of love

And he said, "Life is short, but dreams are forever
And love never leaves."
He's our Troubadour of Hope, Poet of Love and Faith
He's our Troubadour of Hope, He's our Troubadour of Hope

He said, "I'm going to live forever.  I got a home above.
Keep my songs inside your heart forever in a home called love."
He's going to live forever, he's got a home above
Keep his songs inside your heart forever in a home called love ...
